The sound is superb and much easier to play than I anticipated. It is much heavier than I expected and will probably want to get a stand at some point. I also have to figure out what size mouth hole will be best for me, since the width of the didg is quite large and Im not sure if the current wax mouth piece width is the best for me. |

I like the awesome sounds I get and the beautiful craftsmanship and art work. All I had to do to get it working for me was slap a bigger bees wax mouthpiece on. The rating system is very helpful and that and your Aboriginal concerns are important to me. There was no sound sample available on line. |

Aside from being just a beautiful horn to look at the tone and clarity of this didge are incredible. such an easy play as well. just sings. The only downside I could even consider is the weight for such a small instrument though that is a function of its beautiful sound so it cant really be considered a downside |

Needed a performance didge in a specific key. Like artwork, very straight, good for performance. Volume is less than graded but it's on an amplifier so doesn't matter, backpressure is disappointingly lower than graded (another didge player commented same without prompting), sound quality clarity and resonance are very good. Key is flat off E and that affected performance with other instruments, but that's better than sharp as we might be able to slightly shave the length to fine-tune it to concert pitch. Overall despite the minor backpressure and key issues it was very good value for money and works in the live performance show for which it was intended. |
Was not happy with the shipping options not available to the requested address but we sorted out a solution. Alternative options by courier or post might be better offered as a choice if problems arise. |

It was a lot more expensive but it sounds better. Less back pressure though, but probably not possible to maximize back pressure and have a large opening for vocalizations. I'm good with it... |

My didge is perfect! It has the best resonance and back pressure to die for. I'm new at playing this instrument, however going from my old to new has enabled me to improve my playing ten fold (at least!) in such a short time frame. Thank you.
