I love the critter pathways bored out around the edges of the wood. It's a beautiful reminder of our connection to Earth and source. It plays beautifully and effortlessly, and the tonality is so rich. It was love at first sight, and then I experienced it all over again with the first breath. This is by far my favorite didge. |

The sound quality is comparable to ap169, but I feel the back pressure is a little higher, which I appreciate. The price and value are also comparable. I have another cut/split didgeridoo in the key of C that is valued around $500 USD. It's a nice instrument, but the vocals "catch" and "wobble" in ways I don't appreciate, so I wanted to replace it with one of yours. Vocals in this one and ap169 are smooth and always sound nice. |

The curved shapes on this didj are far from subtle. The painted fish artwork is fantastic. And the resonance is the best of all my didj’s thus far. |

I love all the characteristics of this didj! I am a beginner when it comes to didjeridu; I started like many people with an teak-under-hundred-dollars-including-online course. I blew that one up within 2 weeks (curled woodflakes came loose and the sound dramatically dropped in quality. The ap495 however ticks all the boxes and is exactly according how you rated it: excellent. As a beginner I had some difficulty with maintain backpressure (you rated is as: very good) and I started to tweak the mouthpiece but I learned that is was my unexperience what was the cause. Now, after practising a few weeks now, the didje taught me how it loves to be handled. And I follow. Let me put it this way. I am so convinced about the quality of what you deliver, that I am looking already for other key tones didj in your shop. |

I have had bamboo and another from some other kind of wood and this one blows those away. It is much easier to play and you get a much wider range of sounds from it, as well as being louder and sounding fuller. |

It´s a kind of magic!The sounds are amazing and I still discover, after two weeks of playing, new ones. It feels like a landscape of tunes and (over)tones. The painting is grand to. Seems to be durable and made with much love to craftmanship. I would have liked to hear the story accompanying the Goanna... though not having it made me find out via my own research. I guess this was the better way to make me learn about the Goanna and much more:) I love the eucalyptus wood - it´s a real peace of nature and I truly like the feel of all those grooves and dents and impressions while playing. The didjbag is cool but not very sturdy - not made for carrying around 4,5kg of wood. |
The customer service was great. My e-mails were read (as is not standard nowadays) and they were read and even replied to quite fast. Shirallee was friendly and understanding. Thanks! The labeling of the shipment was a bit... wrong. Guess that´s why it got stalled for quite a time in customs but problems got solved and everybody is happy. The web page is out of date but filled with usefull information, you just have to find the entrance hole to the white rabbit´s burrow... |
