I'm really impressed by its sound. My problem is that I'm a fairly new player _ I started in July with a didjshop didge_ and that I'm not up to the quality of this new didge, which is rather frustrating. It makes me want to learn more though.

Being used to buying instruments made by craftsmen, I knew that this didge was a excellent instrument. I showed it last summer to a good didge player who was impressed by the workmanship. Didshop service was very helpful and quick.

How does "am181" compare with your other didjes on price, sound quality and value?
My other two didjes are in PVC and in bamboo. I bought first the PVC to train me. Then the bamboo to test another quality sound. I started by thess didjes for their low prices in a first time. Then, when I was ready, I bought the am181 besause I wanted a genuine didj. So, it's incomparable. The am181 is really better on all fronts.
