This was my first termite-hollowed didj and I learned circular breathing on it within a week, and without assistance. This didj and I just "bonded" right away (although I know some people don't believe that women should play the didj - this instrument doesn't seem to "mind" that I'm female).

This didj has a fantastic sound, higher pitched than my other didjes, but it's also harder to play, requires a lot of lung power! and is heavy for its size.

The only reason I rated workmanship 8 instead of 10 is because it isn't painted so just didn't require that level of workmanship but even though unpainted it's still a beautiful instrument. And your service is amazing. Shipping is really fast!!! Got my didjes from you quicker than many products that shipped to me from a couple hundred miles away!!!!

Everything has been great and I will recommend you guys to others whenver they express an interest. My only complaint is with UPS who shipped my didj all over before getting it here. I am still interested in a shipping refund which I was told by UPS I am eligible for but that it must be requested by you guys.

The didj is great, has wonderful harmonics and back pressure, it is very responsive and has a clear hoot. Fits the description perfectly. The only small dislike I have is that the finish builds up in certain areas, perhaps because it is a bark didj, and looks cloudy in areas.

This was our first didj. I gave it to my husband for Christmas, 2008. He went wild. He learned to play as best he could and the inspiration he received from the instrument itself helped him write a song, which he named "Aborigines G'day." He sang this song at the Williamson County Fair in Tennessee this past summer. He entertains children and adults with the didj in his office where he works as an Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon. The didj is like a living entity to us it is almost like a pet.
