ah959 is a ch didj in C#. It displays wonderful playing abilities in all aspects. Drone and vocals are especially clean. The didj displays two hoot keys and the first hoot key is effortless to play. The paint job is especially good and displays properly right down the front of the didj as it is played in the proper position. Just an outstanding instrument.

ah672 is a ch didj in the key of F. It is a wonderful didj with clear vocals and a first hoot that is fairly easy to play. The didj responds well to my fast playing style in this key. The paint job could have been better in that the patinting does not display down the center of the instrument as it is played properly, it is off to the side and does not show off well because of that.

Didjshop service is always excellent. The staff are all wonderful and easy to work with. A first class operation! Workmanship is excellent, except that I would have liked the painting to display properly when playing the didj.

I was originally going to buy a didge from a USA store..but then I did a google search for authentic aboriginal didge and found this site and learned about authentic aboriginal didges verses "knock-offs". I shopped the site and filled out the questionaire about my abilities (none)..then I placed an order for a didge that I thought was good. Shiralee then contacted me after reading my abilities..and instead of just filling my order, she advised me on choosing another didge as a beginner because the one I originally picked had low backpressure which was not good for learning on. She gave me a list of didges to consider and I picked one and she agreed it was much better than what I picked, and then she adjusted my order for me to include the didge, DVD and carry-bag and then I paid for it. I was really impressed that she would take the time to help me pick what was best for me instead of just making a sale.

Very well. I bought one while I was in Alice Springs and shipped it home which has an AMAZING sound. I bought another while in Sydney and that one was just not as good. I was nervous to buy off the internet for such a personal item such as a didj but was VERY happy with the quality of the one from didjshop.com . It might even be better than the one I got in Alice Springs.
